Hi, I’m Bryce Ives, facilitator, strategic advisor & creative leader

In today's fast-paced world, effective facilitation is paramount. We must rethink how we approach events, meetings, and workshops to address pressing issues.

Unlocking collective creativity and fostering connections isn't idealistic; it's essential for impactful change. As a facilitator, I empower individuals and organisations to flourish by catalysing urgent action and necessary impact.

Bringing people together and fostering authentic conversations is indispensable for progress.

How often have you attended meetings that lacked purpose? How many discussions have you been in that have left critical conversations unexplored?

The very definition of facilitation is to make easy, yet organisations often overlook this. Similar to Design Thinking, Facilitative Thinking is a skill that empowers leaders and teams to innovate collaboratively.

I'm here to help you adopt a facilitative mindset, unlock collective creativity and foster meaningful connections in your work.

I’ve spent my life helping people experience connection and creativity.

I aim to help individuals 'connect the lines between the dots,' find common ground and design shared futures.

Designing shared futures isn't mere rhetoric. To envision a better tomorrow, we must imagine 'What if we got it right?' and design our preferred future with intentionality and impact.

Weaving Storytelling, Strategy, and Impact

With a rich and diverse background spanning the performing arts, youth development, agriculture and ag-tech, social entrepreneurship, higher education, community and regional development, I specialise in guiding conversations that matter, seamlessly weaving together storytelling, strategy, and impact to catalyse positive change across diverse sectors and deliver results.

Spearheading Agricultural Innovation and Leadership

As Chief Facilitator of the AgriFutures Horizon program, the AgriFutures Rural Women's Award program, and the AgriFutures EvokeAg program, I have been a catalyst for leadership innovation in Australian Agriculture. My pivotal role in facilitating the co-design process towards the Talking 2030 roadmap has contributed to propelling Australian agriculture toward a remarkable $100 billion at the farm gate by 2030.

Amplifying Youth Voices

I served as Executive Producer of the ABC's Heywire Regional Youth project, leading the transformation of this initiative into an online platform that amplified the stories and perspectives of young Australians through ABC Radio and TV. My tenure as Chief Facilitator of the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit fostered engagement with countless young individuals and community projects, leaving a lasting mark on youth engagement and storytelling. I have been a leading advocate for young people as leaders, leading the National Youth Media Network and being Chairman and General Manager of Australia’s largest youth participation project SYN - The Student Youth Network Inc.

Global Innovation and Excellence in Higher Education

As Vice President of Public Affairs and Communications at Torrens Global Education, I championed storytelling and communication strategies for Asia Pacific's fastest-growing university. Additionally, my role with the NASDAQ-listed company Strategic Education Inc allowed me to lead initiatives impacting over 100,000 students worldwide.

Creative Nexus

Rooted in theatre-making, improvisation, music, and broadcasting, I co-founded the Present Tense Ensemble, an award-winning performance-based group that crafted immersive and sonically rich contemporary music theatre experiences. My journey also includes creative leadership roles at the Ballarat Arts Academy, Gippsland Centre of Art and Design, Theatre Works St. Kilda, and the Fairfax Youth Arts Festival. As co-curator for the Buffer Fringe Festival in Cyprus, I continue to explore and contribute to global creative landscapes.

Media and Broadcasting Innovator

As Executive Producer of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's Heywire Regional Youth Initiative from 2007 to 2010, I successfully brought Heywire online and amplified the voices and stories of young people on ABC Radio and TV. I also served as the Chief Facilitator of the annual Heywire Regional Youth Summit in Canberra from 2008 to 2020, working closely with hundreds of young individuals and community projects from all across Australia. I was one of the driving forces in establishing youth community media organisation the SYN Youth Media, one of Australia’s largest youth media projects.
